Ice time and face-off stats: Friday vs Tri-City
Another stats package from Jon Whiting. This one comes from the TBirds 3-1 win over the Americans at ShoWare Center Friday night.
All stats were provided by Jon. Any commentary added is the view of the author of the post.
First set is Ryan Gropp’s ice time. The first number in each row will be the time his shift started, the second number will be the time his shift ended and the third number will be the total ice time for that shift. (Note that these are game clock times, not time elapsed in each period.)

Just a quick analysis note on this one. As you can see, compared to last Friday, a lot more wingers taking face-offs. Seattle centers got tossed out of the circle way more often in this game. (Given the differences in being the away team vs the home team when taking face-offs, this may account for the increase.)
We hope you enjoyed this look at some deeper numbers and thank Jon for tracking them and allowing us to post them.
